They simply changed the launch date from spring to late 2023 and let the community take the news as they will, although they did offer a preview of player housing and how it works to soften the blow.
The studio didn’t offer any explanation for the delay and didn’t even acknowledge it in the announcement press release. The game was first announced last fall and was supposed to launch on the Nintendo Switch this spring but has now been delayed to late 2023. Phoenix Labs, the studio behind monster-slaying MMO Dauntless, has announced that it’s postponed the launch of its cozy multiplayer game Fae Farm.
